Mission Statement

At Varioptic, we excel in creating and manufacturing innovative products based on a revolutionary patented technology, electro-wetting.

Our current focus is to :

• develop the electro-wetting technology for autofocus, zoom and other devices for various applications
• manufacture and market liquid lenses
• licence the technology
• strengthen our innovative products position through intensive R&D effort

Our goal over the next few years is to bring the advantages of ElectroWetting technology to most optical applications where its advantages will help designers create new innovative products.

Autofocus lenses

Based on its patented electrowetting technology, Varioptic introduces the first commercially available electrically controllable optical lenses.

Zooms

The combination of various Varioptic tunable lenses enables the development of Zooms with no moving parts.

Technology Assessment Program (TAP):

A sound way to discover Varioptic technology and start designing with it.

Custom products

Based on volume and specification, custom products can be proposed and developed.
