The following position is available at Varioptic (Lyon, France): Micromechanical/ Conception Engineer: Your main responsibility will be new product design based on Varioptic technology.Starting from the specifications agreed with marketing, based on market/customer inputs, you will be in charge of the conception phases of the product. You will have to go through the different phases of the project: analysis of customer requirements, design of the product (CAD, tolerancing, finite element simulations...), validation of the technical and economical feasibility with suppliers, participation to the definition and design of the tooling and assembly equipments, prototyping and failure analysis up to full qualification of the product. You will also be in charge of performance improvement of the product if needed. Following the analysis of identified issues (yield, customer problems...) you will propose improvement plans.
Ingénieur Micromécanique/ Conception Réaliser la conception de nouveaux produits. A partir du cahier des charges exprimés par le client/service marketing, vous engagerez les phases de conception sous la responsabilité du Chef de Projet. Vous réaliserez les différentes phases du projet : analyse du besoin client / conception du produit : CAO, calculs (chaînes de cotes, simulation éléments finis, tolérancement du produit) / validation de la faisabilité technique et économique auprès des sous-traitants / participation à la conception/définition des outillages/équipements d’assemblages / Mise au point du produit, analyse de défaillances jusqu’à qualification complète du produit. Vous serez également en charge de l’amélioration des performances produit. Suite aux différentes défauts observés sur le produit (rendements, défaillances clients,…), vous proposez aussi des actions d’améliorations qui rentrent dans son champ d’intervention (définition produit).
