The following positions are available in Lyon, France:

Electronic Engineer:  Your main responsibility will be to support the development of new systems based on Varioptic technology, dedicated to imaging applications. You will translate customer needs into internal specifications, participate to Varioptic system development and catalyse the launch of Varioptic solutions. You will be in charge of analog or digital electronic products for the control of the liquid lens, including develoment, industrialisation, test and pre-series. You will work in close collaboration with pluridisciplinary teams (chemistry, mechanics, optics) and marketing. An experience in digital/ analog electronics is required. Basic knowledge of optics and mechanics, and electronic design tools, programming and image processing would be appreciated.

Micromechanical Engineer: Your main responsibility will be new product design based on Varioptic technology.Starting from the specifications agreed with marketing, based on market/customer inputs, you will be in charge of the conception phases of the product.

You will have to go through the different phases of the project: analysis of customer requirements, design of the product (CAD, tolerancing, finite element simulations...), validation of the technical and economical feasibility with suppliers, participation to the definition and design of the tooling and assembly equipments, prototyping and failure analysis up to full qualification of the product. You will also be in charge of performance improvement of the product if needed. Following the analysis of identified issues (yield, customer problems...) you will propose improvement plans.

Industrialisation Equipment Engineer: Your mission will be to define the characteristics of mass production lines: - industrial equipement set up: design (or sub contract design) and build the equipments and tooling for the implementation of industrial processes dedicated to mass production. - identify the equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
