Varioptic has developed a Partner Progamme with leading industry players for ease of integration and compatibility of its products through a thorough certification process.

This programme aims to provide OEM and ODM customers with fine-tuned, turn key solutions, hence reducing risks, development costs and time to market.
To this extent, Varioptic’s Partner Program is open to companies that can bring significant added values to the complex chain of image processing:
ㆍ Lens Driver: IC manufacturers, with small, reliable, high voltage products
ㆍ Sensor Manufacturers: CMOS and CCD sensor makers, with 2MP+ products
ㆍ Lens Makers: Fixed lens designers and manufacturers
ㆍ ISP Vendors: Manufacturers of IC products (dedicated, or integrated) with embedded image and auto focus processing

Creative Sensors Inc., Taiwan - August 2006
Varioptic and Creative Sensor Inc. signed a production deal in August 2006 to build the first mass production line for liquid lenses. This production line is installed in Creative Sensor’s manufacturing site in Wuxi, China, and began operation in December 2006. Production quantities in Wuxi include Varioptic’s new 7.75-mm lenses, Arctic 416, aimed at camera phones, as well as the previously introduced devices, Arctic 320, for use in webcams, barcode readers and medical equipment.
