Varioptic's founder and CTO Dr. Bruno Berge will present a paper at the MOEMS and Miniaturized Systems XII conference, on Wednesday 6 February, from 2:50 PM to 3:10 PM. Titled Liquid lens based on electrowetting: actual developments on larger aperture and multiple electrodes design for image stabilization or beam steering, this paper will present actual performances of liquids lenses based on Electrowetting and simulations of physical phenomena. Two applications requiring fast actuation will be discussed: non-sequential autofocus algorithms and image stabilization.

Plus, a Product Demonstration will be held in the Demo Area 2 (North Hall D), on Wednesday 6 February at 10:30 AM, where Varioptic will showhow its Arctic and Caspian products bring ultra-fast and robust auto focus to machine vision, barcode readers, biometrics, medical imaging...
