Dr. Benjamin Burger will present a paper at the MOEMS and Miniaturized Systems XIV conference, on Thursday 12 February, at 3:30 PM, titled Improvement of Varioptic's liquid lens based on electrowetting: How to obtain a short response time and its application in the design of a high resolution iris biometric system.

A Product Demonstration will be held in the Demo Area 2 (North Hall D), on Tuesday 10 February at 3:30 PM, where Varioptic will show how its Arctic and Caspian products bring ultra-fast and robust auto focus to machine vision, barcode readers, biometrics, medical imaging... as well as the new Visayan 80S0 lens, bringing variable optical power and astigmatism to ophthalmology applications.
