The Arctic 316 variable focus liquid lens is the perfect fit for low footprint systems requiring fast response time and large focusing range, and is especially suitable for miniature industrial cameras. Arctic 316 is based on Varioptic’s breakthrough liquid lens technology, allowing variable focus with absolutely no moving parts.
Arctic 316 has been designed primarily for imaging applications using 1/4’’ and 1/3’’ sensors, but is also compatible with larger size sensors, depending on F-number requirements. It features 18 diopters dynamic range, guaranteeing 5 cm focus ability. Its low power consumption, high shock resistance and fast focus ability make it ideally suited for autofocus and continuous autofocus applications in portable devices, where it will deliver outstanding performance.
